Started a word processing business to pay my way through college. Clients began to ask for help with their resumes, and I began to provide this as an added service. Educated myself on the business of resume development and career coaching, joined a national organization of resume writers, and expanded my word processing business to include resume writing. I was one of the first Certified Professional Resume Writers (CPRW) in the country. The rest is history!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I work personally with each client. I don't hand over your project to an assistant or subcontractor. I guarantee my clients' satisfaction with the finished product. A huge percentage of my new business comes from referrals. That says a lot about the quality of my work.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I work with clients via phone, email and fax. I no longer have an office location.
