I’m Jon Cohen of Jon Cohen Law, LLC. My law practice focuses on serving entrepreneurs, innovators, creators, software developers and performers.
My passion for being an attorney comes from two sources. Having grown up in Los Angeles with a father in the entertainment business, I developed an interest in the lively arts and in literature and I gravitated toward copyright law.
The second basis is my experience as computer engineer and programmer. My interest in this area gives me the impetus to help bring software applications to market and to protect those applications.
Jon Cohen Law, LLC, provides services in the following areas.
Copyright and Trademark Counseling and Problem Solving
Computer Law/Internet Law
Litigation to Protect Intellectual Property Rights
Copyright law protects the tangible expression of a person’s ideas, writings, visual art works, software programs, and similar products of the mind that have market value. A trademark or service mark is the mark you use to distinguish your goods or services from your competition. You need to protect this asset. I can assist you in developing strategies and practices to protect your copyrightable work and your trademark or service mark.
