Many parents think of the pediatrician as someone who helps their child when they are sick. What you will find is that much of what goes on at the pediatrician's office is not medicine at all. Many of your office visits with your baby will be to discuss things such as development, feeding, behavior, and safety concerns. Because there is a lot of style involved and many "right ways" to raise a child, we at ESD Pediatric Group feel that every parent should make an informed decision when choosing a doctor to entrust your child's care.
The ESD Pediatric Group also offers PRENATAL VISITS at no charge.

ESD Pediatric Group was started in 1942 by Dr. Gail Englender. Dr. Englender was one of the early women pioneers in Cincinnati Pediatrics. She finished her residency during World War II and immediately began practicing general pediatrics. She was joined in 1963 by Dr. John Sper and Dr. Ronald Drasnin creating Englender, Sper & Drasnin Group Practice. All three of the original members of the practice have served as President of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical and Dental Staff, most recently Dr. Ronald Drasnin in 1989. The group has continued to grow and now includes a total of five pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our mission is to provide superior medical and preventative care by physicians and staff that are trained and knowledgeable in the medical and emotional needs of pediatric patients from birth to early adulthood. ESD Pediatric Group is strongly committed to being one of the best pediatric practices in the community. We look forward to working and growing with every family that entrusts the care of their precious children to our office.
